We Really Do
Love Our Jobs.
Jaimee Goad Bishop
Owner & Art Director
If you would have told me 5 years ago that I'd be a code-writin', key-typin', obsessive-about-css, website designin' geek, I would have laughed in disbelief. Because up until recently, I had only two passions - Brazil and journalism. I graduated in the top of my class at the University of Georgia, and began a television reporting career in South Mississippi. My dream was to be an international correspondent for CNN. Then, I met CSS, the website styling language. It was love at first type.
The internet and I grew up together and I firmly believe that my childhood exposure to prodigy (the first mainstream internet) made the switch from news reporting to web design a surprisingly effortless one; my ease of learning real languages made mastering some of the computer's native tongues a piece of cake; and the journalist in me found a home making little stories out of each design project I handled. If you think about it, all a website is is communication. And that's what I do best!
For the most part, I work solo on website design projects. For the larger projects, though, I do hire a few programmers to help lessen the load. They are a great asset to my business because they help me provide clients with a wide selection of website features. Visit the Web Design Services page for a list of all Internet services and then contact me for a free quote.
On a Personal Note...
I just recently moved from South Mississippi to Bowling Green, MO with my husband, Xavier and our 3-year-old son, Micah. When I'm not working, I enjoy reading, dancing, catching up on some "girl" time with my friends, and traveling around my new state of Missouri.

Michelle Odom
Designer
I am honored to be working with Jaimee Designs for I am embracing my inner
computer goddess once again! You see, I am a mother, a performance artist
and a dressage rider at heart. Yet I was raised by a computer scientist,
so understanding computers and programming is hard-wired into my system
and always a part of who I am and what I am good at doing.
I developed an intimate relationship with the world wide web from a young
age, and I designed my first website in '97 from scratch (without any
design software to do the work for me). Having run an online business
myself, I have also learned the ins and outs of website functionality. I
have a passion for creative expression through design, an inherent
aptitude for grammatical detail, and a gift for public relations. After
all, I am Jaimee's sister!
On a Personal Note...
I reside in Santa Fe, New Mexico, where I am continuously inspired by the art and beauty inherent to this area. I have a 12-year old daughter named Karma who has a passion for dogs and loves writing stories, and my 8-year old son, Kaidan, is an avid snowboarder and guitarist. I also share my home with a super sweet pit bully.
Scott Salyer
Programmer
I have been involved with computers in some degree or another for the past ten years, the last six of which have been on a professional level. My roots began with basic HTML and site designs but soon turned to Systems Administration. I obtained an MCSA and worked for a local Vocational School as a network technician. When I moved on to a new position with a new company I was given the opportunity to give programming a try, and it changed my entire career focus. I now help manage the Logistics system of a Fortune 500 company which consists of multiple backend processing systems, a clustered server environment all running on an Oracle back-end.
When I'm not at work at my 9-5 job, I'm doing work for Jaimee Designs. My advanced programming skills have given clients such as Tradewinds Transcriptons and Mississippi Municipal League website that don't just look good, but have function.... lots of function. Other programming projects I have completed include back-end infrastructure for companies and organizations such as the Ohio Renaissance Festival, Extreme Audio and Video, Laurel Court, Gordon Bernard and multiple other projects.
I specialize in ASP.NET development (1.1 to 3.5) with an emphasis on MSSQL 2005/2008 for the data backend. In conjunction with ASP.NET I try to utilize AJAX as frequently as possible to maintain a streamlined client experience. I also have experience with Oracle databases, WPF (Windows Presentation Foundation) for windows applications and WCF (Windows Communication Foundation) for web services to support multi-tier development.
